BMW scores highest in RI sales index

JAKARTA: BMW Indonesia has scored the highest in the J.D. Power analyst's 2004 Indonesia Sales Satisfaction Index Study.

The German-based automaker also topped the group's Customer Satisfaction Index Study for the second consecutive year.

BMW scored 749 from the maximum 1,000 points in the sales satisfaction index, leading the industry in the dealer facility, salesperson and delivery process categories. For customer satisfaction, it scored 783 points.

The study was based on the evaluations of 2,300 vehicle owners after two to six months of ownership, while the Customer Satisfaction Index surveyed 1,000 vehicle owners 12 to 18 months after sales. -- JP
