BMW offers packages service deal for owners of older 5, 3 Series

An old selling adage still true today says the buyer is king. Another important concept, not yet an adage, states "loyal customers will be rewarded."
It's no wonder many big companies do their best to pamper customers long after sales are made, as repeat business in the form of brand loyalty is an important source of revenue -- especially for firms selling high-end, durable products.
And this is true of PT BMW Indonesia, a subsidiary of German premium car manufacturer BMW AG, which on March 30 introduced the Package Price Program (3P) for owners of older BMW models.
Owners of BMW 5 Series E34 produced between 1988 and 1996 as well as 3 Series E30 and E36s manufactured between 1988 and 1997 can now get service and parts for their cars at authorized BMW dealerships at a reasonable price.
BMW Indonesia director of corporate communications Helena Abidin said 3P also stood for Price, Performance and Punctuality.
"These three elements characterize the high level of service quality BMW worldwide is famous for. All BMW authorized dealerships have a clear commitment to offer this high level of services to customers," she said.
Helena said there were four service packages being offered through the long-term 3P Program.
"The packages are for suspension, brake systems, clutch, filter and oil servicing. All parts used in the 3P program come with a two-year warranty offered by BMW," she said.
The program focused on operational and safety elements and ensured all related parts within the package selected were changed, not just the ones giving problems, Helena said.
It also strived for punctuality without sacrificing the quality of diagnosis and care. Intensive training had been carried out for all dealers involved, she said.
BMW Indonesia president Josef Honsel said the program was aimed at extending BMW's customer loyalty and ultimately increasing BMW vehicles' resale value.
"We are committed to providing a worry-free experience to owners of our older models in Indonesia and want to keep our older models at their best," he said.
