BMW goes bush

DETROIT: It's definite... BMW will build its luxury sports utility vehicle. Believed to be based on the 5 Series wagon, the car is expected to be built at BMW's Spartanburg plant in the U.S.

It will compete against Mercedes' ML-Class and the Lexus RX300. BMW has long denied it was planning the build the car.
