Blue Bird's gratitude
We, the Blue Bird Group, would like to express our gratitude to all people and parties who have provided us with both moral and material assistance for the victims of the JW Marriott bomb blast that took place on Aug. 5, 2003. The incident claimed the lives of five Silver Bird drivers of the Blue Bird Group.
The tragedy is a tough blow for us, as in one single incident we lost five of our best drivers. The first four died at the bomb site, while the fifth victim received treatment for six days after the blast and finally died as a result of his severe burn injuries.
Whatever assistance we have provided for the victims' families will not be able to replace the love and the role of their fathers and husbands.
We appreciate the assistance we have received from various parties, which have lightened the burden of the victims' families. We trust that the souls of the victims are now in the hands of God.
May the bereaved families have the inner strength to accept their fate.
