Bintaro Hospital apologizes
The Bintaro International Hospital has followed up on the matters referred to in a letter published in your paper on Feb. 6, 1999, from Mr. Ferdy Madian. We would like to apologize to Mr. Madian for any perceived inconvenience he may have suffered.
With respect to Mr. Madian's son injuring his foot, after a thorough inspection we were unable to find any offending materials which could have caused the injury. In fact, the attending doctor who treated the foot with a small bandage noted that the injury did not look like it was caused by an intrusive object.
We have communicated our findings to Mr. Madian, and assure readers that Bintaro International Hospital operates to the highest standards and is committed to providing all of our patients excellent care.
