Angelique Widjaja beat Kim Mi-ok 6-2, 6-2, and Wynne Prakusya defeated Chung Yang-jin 6-4, 6-2. Wukirasih Sawondari and Diana Julianto lost 1-6, 4-6 to Jeong Cho-yoon and Jeon Mi-ra in the doubles. Indonesia will face host China, the winner of Group B, in the final match on Saturday to fight for a ticket to the World Group playoffs. South Korea will play Japan for another ticket.
