BII Visa Card

As A BII visa cardholder since 1996, I am bewildered with the issuance of a new visa card by BII that uses a different card number from the old card number. My old card was automatically extended according to the terms of the agreement. Surprisingly the number of my new card was different from that of the old card, and it was then that the complications began.

As usual, I pay my BII visa card regularly based on my new card number. Suddenly on June 14, 2001 I received a phone call and a warning letter from BII alleging that I had neglected to pay my BII visa card for several months. According to a BII officer, I didn't pay my old card and that means that I have to shoulder the burden of accumulated interest and the charges for the delay. I am of the opinion that BII visa card is guilty of a bizarre act. Thus, I would like to ask BII visa management, shouldn't BII visa card center issue a new card with the same card number as the old card. By having a different number for the new card, BII visa is prejudicing its customer.
