JAYAPURA, Irian Jaya: Missionary Dwight Hasler of the Kemah Injil Indonesia Church here has launched an edition of the New Testament in the local Irianese dialect of Sentani, Antara reported on Thursday.
The 3,000-page Bible, written also in Indonesian and English, was launched at Ebenhazer Church in Sentani regency last Friday to coincide with the 144th anniversary of the beginning of the work here by two German missionaries Ottouw and Geissler.
