BI to train consultants

JAKARTA (JP): Bank Indonesia Governor J. Soedradjad Djiwandono
and Minister of Cooperatives and Small Enterprises Subiakto
Tjakrawerdaya signed an cooperation agreement yesterday on the
development of small enterprises.

Under the agreement, Bank Indonesia, the central bank, will
provide banking training to 800 consultants to small enterprises
and cooperatives.

At the occasion, Soedradjad also singed a cooperation
agreement with the small business incubation foundation, under
which the central bank will help small businesses affiliated with
the foundation. (rid)
