Bhinneka stages exhibition matches

SEMARANG (JP): Surakarta-based Bhinneka basketball club will
stage a series of exhibition matches in Surakarta from Jan. 11 to
Jan. 14, to prepare players for the 2001 Kobatama national
basketball league starting in February.

The exhibition matches will be participated in by defending
champion Aspac Jakarta, runner up Panasia Indosyntec Bandung,
semifinalist Mahaka Satria Muda of Jakarta and host Bhinneka.

Bhinneka administrator Sukamto said on Friday, "Bhinneka will
also use the exhibition to observe Kobatama's top three players."

Bhinneka, which is coached by Li Shu Zhao, aims to perform
better in the next league. (har)
