Better phones on trains

JAKARTA: The state telecommunication firm PT Telkom is improving the telephone booths installed on trains serving Jakarta and Bandung, to give better service to the customers.

During the improvement, however, the phone services have to be terminated temporarily, Telkom's spokesman D. Sinaga said.

He said that there were six card telephones installed in the trains which are jointly managed by PT Telkom and the railway company Perumka. (par)
