Belitung port authority

From Neraca

I am an indigenous inhabitant of the South Sumatra island of Belitung whose only business is marketing fish flour and honey to people in neighboring islands. This business which I set up recently has created jobs for hundreds of fishermen and honey farmers on the island and incomes to support our families.

However, as this business is flourishing some officials at Pos II, Sunda Kelapa port authorities impose illegal fees on our goods for shipment. We are even being compelled to spend a lot of money and time to obtain permits from the authorities. Worst still, the officials often mess up our goods on the pretext of inspection.

It is really deplorable that these officials are seemingly unaware that their disservice will kill our business and impoverish hundreds of the local people.
