Since 1996, PT Bekaert Indonesia started with local manufacturing of steel cord used for reinforcing radial tires. Products are shipped to tire companies in Indonesia and ASEAN. Located in Karawang, the Bekaert production unit has highly qualified and well-trained employees. All production processes are based on worldwide standards of Bekaert technology. Despite the difficult economic situation in Indonesia, the sales of PT Bekaert Indonesia have been increasing year to year.
