BDNI's profit rises 30%
JAKARTA (JP): Bank Dagang Nasional Indonesia's (BDNI's) net income for the year's first nine months rose 30 percent to Rp 123.4 billion (US$52.7 million) from Rp 95.1 billion for the same period of 1995.
The rise was supported by increases in net interest income and fee income, which were up 17 percent and 58 percent for a 28 percent increase in operating income.
The bank said it was confident it would achieve its target of Rp 165 billion net profit for 1996. (hen)
