Body of al-Ghozi arrives in Surabaya: The remains of bombmaker
Fathur Rohman al-Ghozi who was shot dead in a shoot-out with
Philippine troops on Sunday arrived in Surabaya at 10:46 p.m. on
Wednesday after a flight from Manila. A number of East Java
Police officers received the body, before transporting it by land
to Mojorejo village in Madiun, some 150 kilometers west of
Surabaya, for burial. Hundreds of Muslim activists grouped under
the Surakarta Mujahiddin Family, had gathered in the village
since Wednesday morning to pay homage to al-Ghozi, whom they
