Bayer allowed to export
JAKARTA (JP): PT Bayer Indonesia said yesterday it had been awarded Pharmaceutical Inspection Convention certification which enables the company to export its pharmaceutical and over- the-counter products to Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Bayer said in a statement the certificate was issued by the Therapeutic Goods Administration Australia, also a member of the international auditing body for the pharmaceutical industry.
Bayer Indonesia is primarily owned by Germany's Bayer AG. It has two production facilities in Greater Jakarta for the production of pharmaceutical and over-the-counter goods, and for consumer care and crop protection products.
The company said it so far exported to countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Korea. (das)
