Bayer allowed to export

JAKARTA (JP): PT Bayer Indonesia said yesterday it had been
awarded Pharmaceutical Inspection Convention certification
which enables the company to export its pharmaceutical and over-
the-counter products to Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Bayer said in a statement the certificate was issued by the
Therapeutic Goods Administration Australia, also a member of
the international auditing body for the pharmaceutical industry.

Bayer Indonesia is primarily owned by Germany's Bayer AG. It
has two production facilities in Greater Jakarta for the
production of pharmaceutical and over-the-counter goods, and for
consumer care and crop protection products.

The company said it so far exported to countries like
Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Korea. (das)
