Batik exhibition in Yogya

YOGYAKARTA: Works by Batik painter Ardiyanto are being displayed here in a long-month exhibition to mark his 50th anniversary.

Ardiyanto exhibits his paintings at his own gallery starting from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. His works have been exhibited overseas, including Germany, the Netherlands, and the United States.

At the closing of the event, Ardiyanto plans to launch a book on Indonesian art, Antara reported. (par)
