Paiton and PLN secure final deal: U.S. based Edison Mission Energy, which owns a 40 percent stake in the Paiton I power project, said on Tuesday it had secured a final deal with state electricity company PT PLN over the power tariffs it charged PLN. The deal ends over two years of renegotiation on the original 1994 Power Purchase Agreement. Principle changes include a reduction in the prices to be paid and an extension of its term. Paiton's lenders, however, must approve the deal before it can come into effect. -- DowJones
