Bantaeng cries for more aid

MAKASSAR, South Sulawesi: Victims of a destructive flood in Bantaeng regency are appealing for more relief aid, claiming that the local administration had done little, Antara reported.

Abdullah Hanafiah, a primary school teacher who was among the victims of the June 8 flood, said local people needed more food, medicine and clothes.

Bantaeng Regent Azikin Solthan announced the administration was doing all it could.
