Bank Permata's service

On Jan. 3, 2004 I intended to withdraw Rp 2,400,000 from Bank Permata's ATM on Jl. Teuku Umar, in Denpasar, Bali. But since the ATM can only dispense a maximum of Rp 600,000 at one time, I made four withdrawals. However, after completing the transactions I counted the money and to my surprise was short Rp 400,000, meaning that the ATM only dispensed Rp 500,000, instead of Rp 600,000, each time.

Immediately I reported to Bank Permata Call Center (Permata Tel) and explained what was happening with the ATM. Finally after seven days, I received information by fax from Atin Hadiatin -- dispute resolution manager-- explaining that the money had been dispensed by the ATM according to the amount required.

I disagree with this answer, based on the fact that I did not get the money I intended to withdraw. So I complained to Bank Permata Denpasar and once again explained the matter. They told me that they would cross-check the information.

To date I still have not received a satisfactory answer as to whether they seriously followed up on the case and solved the problem. Where is the Bank's professionalism?
