Bank PDFCI names new chief

JAKARTA (JP): Shareholders of the publicly-listed Bank PDFCI endorsed yesterday the bank's new management team led by Eddie Tong Thung Auw.

Eddie Tong, former director at another publicly-listed bank, Bank Bali, replaced Bistok Hutasoit as president of Bank PDFCI.

The new president has promised he will lead the bank to achieve its target of Rp 21.5 billion (US$9.5 million) in net profits this year, a 41 percent increase from last year's net profits of Rp 15.2 billion. (rid)
