Bank Nusa's Visa card

JAKARTA (JP): The Bakrie group's Bank Nusa launched its Visa credit card service yesterday in cooperation with the country's first credit card issuer, Bank Duta.

President of Bank Nusa, Bangun Sarwito Kusmuljono, said the bank aimed to sign up 2,000 BankNusa Visa credit cardholders this year.

"We expect to cover 40,000 credit cardholders within three years," he said, adding that a large part of the cardholders would be employees of the Bakrie business group.

He said Bakrie group's three holding companies; Bakrie and Brothers, Bakrie Finance Corporation and Bakrie Investindo, signed a cooperation agreement to collectively apply for a Bank Nusa Visa card license.
