Bank DKI opens late at the Fair
JAKARTA: A branch of city-owned Bank DKI is staying open late
seven days a week until 10 p.m. during Jakarta Fair 2005 to
facilitate visitors to the fair in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
The bank is also providing 24-hour ATM services at the Niaga
Center in Kemayoran, which can also be availed of by customers of
other banks who have access to ATM Bersama.
A bank spokesman, Hasan Basri, said that the extended opening
hours were intended to provide greater convenience for the bank's
customers. During the Fair, he added, new customers could open an
account by depositing just Rp 100,000 (US$10).
The month-long fair, which is being held as part of the
celebrations to mark Jakarta's official 478th anniversary on June
22, will continue until July 17, and is open from 10 a.m to 11
p.m. on weekends and from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m on weekdays. -- Antara
