Bambang wins Fun Bike

JAKARTA: Bambang Gunadi of ABC company amateur bike club won
the Tour de Kasteel Batavia Fun Bike, beating 400 other
participants on Sunday.

"This is a unique event that could encourage us to visit
museums. I am now planning to take my family to visit another
day," said the winner of Rp 1.5 million (US$183) prize money.

The fun bike event was staged by The Jakarta History Museum or
Fatahillah Museum in West Jakarta. During the tour, participants
had to travel to the Bahari museum, Wayang (puppet) museum,
Keramik (chinaware) museum and the Art museum. The bikers also
visited, among other things, the Kasteel Batavia, Sunda Kelapa
port and Syahbandar tower.

The tour, which ended at the Fatahillah museum, offered total
prize money of Rp 3.25 million. -- JP
