Ballo, Stevie win first matches

JAKARTA (JP): Indonesian boxers Hermansen Ballo and Stevie
Binalay won their first matches at the Olympic Games third
qualifying round in Bangkok on Saturday evening.

Ballo defeated RMA Bratnayake of Sri Lanka while Stevie beat
Namjil Munkshaikan of Mongolia.

Indonesian assistant team manager, Didiet Soedijoto, quoted by
Antara, said that Ballo, competing in the flyweight division,
only needed one round to knock down Bratnayake.

Stevie, competing in the light welterweight division, scored
15:12 from Munkshaikan.

Ballo will challenge Turkmenistan Shimonov while Stevie will
face K Sanjit of India on Monday. (yan)
