Ballinium at Nusa Dua Beach

JAKARTA (JP): Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa Resort announced on Saturday that it would greet the turn of the century in the warm and elegant Balinese way with a party called the Ballinium.

The hotel public relations manager, Anthony John Ballay, said the hotel would organize a vast range of New Year's Eve activities in the traditional Balinese way, featuring fire-eater performances, authentic Balinese dances and a mass procession of Balinese dancers.

The dinner will take place on the beach with more than twenty Royal Marquis tents, and guests will be served a deluxe rijstafel menu. Fireworks will commence at the stroke of midnight to welcome in the new millennium.

Ballay said the five-star diamond hotel in Denpasar chose the Ballinium theme in order to share traditional Balinese art and culture with its guests. (gis)
