Bali to have tourist tabloid

DENPASAR: The Bali Post is planning to publish an English-
language tabloid called Bali Travel News by the end of this year.

I Gde Wirata, chief of the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant
Association (PHRI) chapter in Bali, said the tabloid would
provide access to information about tourist attractions and
transportation on the tourist island.

The biweekly tabloid, under the slogan "Your Guide to Your
Island", will publish about 50,000 issues for its first edition,
Antara news agency reported.

Wisnu Wadhana, representing the Bali Post said the tabloid
would consist of 11 columns -- Cover Story, Your Letter,
Folklore, Nature's Window, Life, Art and Handicrafts, Sport and
Recreation, Guide Board, Let's Speak Bahasa Indonesia,
Horoscope/Puzzle/Cartoon and Food.
