Bakrie gets award

JAKARTA (JP): PT Bakrie Sumatra Plantations, a publicly-listed plantation company, has received an appreciation award from the Madrid-based Trade Leaders Club.

The company said yesterday that the award showed the club's recognition of its farm products.

Bakrie Sumatra, which recently received an ISO 9002 certificate from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance of London, has passed the quality test provided by the American Society for Testing and Material for its low protein Cream Latex. (hen)
