BAGOC provides predawn meals
JAKARTA (JP): Organizers of the Bangkok Asian Games have provided pre-dawn meals for Muslim athletes and officials who will start their month-long fast on Sunday.
An official in charge of catering service in the Thammasat athletes village, Pismai Chandrubeksa, said on Saturday that the meals would be ready at 4 a.m. on Sunday.
"We will start working two hours earlier than usual for the Muslim participants," he said as quoted by Antara.
At least 15 of 41 countries participating in the Games are predominantly Muslim. (amd)
