Badminton players get incentives
JAKARTA (JP): The Jaya Raya foundation, which is owned by the city administration and PT Pembangunan Jaya, presented plots of land to three Indonesian badminton players for their achievements.
Ciputra, president of the foundation, said at a ceremony on Wednesday that the gifts were given because Bambang Suprianto, Mia Audina and Finarsih made great contributions to the country when the Indonesian badminton team grabbed the Thomas and Uber trophies from Malaysia last year.
Governor Surjadi Soedirdja said, "The rewards are our appreciation for your good achievement."
Bambang Suprianto received a 200 square-meter plot in Bintaro Jaya, South Jakarta, while Mia Audina and Finarsih, got 300 square-meter plots in CitraRaya housing estate in Tangerang.(yns)
