Baby survives car crash

BOYOLALI, Central Java: An 18-month-old baby survived a car
crash which killed its parents here Sunday, a press report said
yesterday.

Antara did not say whether the baby was hurt but reported that
its 32-year-old father and 27-year-old mother had died in their
car which crashed head on with a bus.

The bus driver said he had lost control of his vehicle because
his brakes had failed.

Eyewitnesses said the bus dragged the car for several meters.
It took rescue workers two hours to pull the victims from the
wrecked sedan. (pan)
