Attorney General Office personnel

The Attorney General's Office is headed by the Attorney General (Jaksa Agung). The person directly under him is called Deputy Attorney General (Wakil Jaksa Agung). The next lower level is occupied by Junior Attorneys General (Jaksa Agung Muda) The term junior is used for Muda, like Junior Minister (Menteri Muda).

In The Jakarta Post of June 2, 1995, Yunan Sawidji was said to be a Deputy Attorney General, but I think he is a Junior Attorney General.

Yunan Sawidji heads BIDSUS, a special body responsible for fighting special crimes like subversion, corruption and smuggling. He is not the top crime fighter, because there is another Junior Attorney General who heads a branch responsible for fighting other crimes not falling under the jurisdiction of BIDSUS, like theft, rape, burglary, murder, manslaughter, cheating etc. So we have two crime fighting Junior Attorneys General.

We have another Attorney General who heads the Intelligence branch. If you consider this as also a crime fighter, then we have three people altogether.
