Regarding your article titled Astra meeting may become
showdown published on Feb. 7, I would like to make several
clarifications.

First, the sale of Astra Securities is not related to Mohamad
"Bob" Hasan as implied by your article. Second, the Astra
management, to the best of my knowledge, is not related by
ownership to the new shareholders of Astra Securities.
Furthermore, it is not in my opinion that the sale of Astra
Securities is not done on an arm-length basis.
