Aston Hotel opens in Jakarta

JAKARTA (JP): The Aston Hotel Group of the United States
announced on Tuesday the opening of its US$52 million Aston Grand
Suites Hotel in Jakarta.

The five-star hotel has 300 suites and 718 bedrooms, including
four presidential suites. It was formerly known as Lippo Sudirman
Grand Suites.

Aston International has managed hotels and resorts in the
United States, Australia, Philippines, China and Indonesia for
the past 51 years. Its other property in Indonesia is the Aston
Resort and Spa in Bali.

It is the largest hotel and resort operator in Hawaii with 32
properties under its control on the island. (02)
