Astaga!com has new boss

JAKARTA (JP): The Board of Directors of Astaga!com announced on Tuesday the appointment of Andrew Hayek as the new chief executive officer, replacing Jonathan Morris.

The company said the reshuffle was a "transitional move coinciding with a general readjustment at a number of levels" of the news portal and would not effect its business.

Hayek is not new to the company as he has been involved in the management of Astaga!com since its launch.

The company said Morris, who would pursue new opportunities in other Internet businesses, would remain a shareholder in Astaga!com. (cst)
