Astaga launches auction site

JAKARTA (JP): Internet website Astaga!Com has announced a plan to launch an online auction service, allowing its users to buy or sell any kind of merchandise through the Internet.

"We expect to have an auction site online within this month," said Jonathan Morris, Chief Executive Officer of the company.

He said the online auction site would be an interactive virtual marketplace where users could list and sell their goods to a large online audience.

Buyers would have an easy, safe and fun way to purchase various types of merchandise, he added.

Astaga!Com provides a wide range of services, including a search engine, free e-mail, chat room, real time stocks, discussion board, the latest news and interesting features on politics, economy, health, astrology, women, technology, travel and sports. (udi)
