Asian composers festival opens
YOGYAKARTA: A six-day festival and conference of the Asian Composers League opened here on Thursday night, exploring the theme of "Spiritualism of Sounds and Structure in Contemporary Music".
The festival will be highlighted by a series of musical and art performances as well as seminars, to be staged by dozens of foreign and domestics artists.
Among the speakers are Francois Picard of France, I Wayan Dibia and Suka Hardjana of Indonesia.
The festival will move to Surakarta for its final two days. (44/edt)
