Asahimas shares for co-ops

JAKARTA (JP): PT Asahimas Flat Glass Co. Ltd. announced yesterday that its founders have transferred 3.48 million shares, or 1 percent of the company's total shares, to 40 cooperatives.

The company, founded by Rodamas Indonesia and Asahi Glass of Japan, is the country's largest producer of glass sheets with a production capacity of 420,000 tons per annum. (rid)
