Asahimas gets ISO 9002

JAKARTA (JP): Southeast Asia's largest glass manufacturer, PT
Asahimas Flat Glassco., Ltd, has received ISO 9002 certification
for the production and sale of automotive safety glass.

The certification was awarded by the Belgian Quality
Association over the weekend at a ceremony at the Horison Hotel.

The company said the internationally acclaimed award was
another endorsement of Asahimas' high quality safety glass that
was widely used in the domestic automotive industry.

The ISO 9002 certification is awarded for manufacturers of
high quality products. (02)
