Artist : The All-American Rejects Album : Move Along (Interscope/Doghouse Records)

The Stillwater, Oklahoma-based All American Rejects introduced themselves to the world with stadium anthem Swing Swing, a song that won them instant recognition as another emo band in the pack.

What sets the Rejects apart from other sad emo outfits, however, is their sunny and light-hearted lyrics.

"In fact, we like the way cock rock feels and the way it makes people feel good. We try to bring that kind of feeling to our songs," bass-playing lead singer Tyson Ritter said.

In Move Along, the Rejects craft twelve harmony-laden tracks to provide a sonic backdrop for their exuberant lyrics.

There is no mistaking that all tracks in the album deserve strong airplay on MTV or other top forty-oriented radio stations.

But the Rejects might not be the right band if you're looking for some depth. -- M. Taufiqurrahman
