Article on UNDP
I would like to correct an article which appeared in The Jakarta Post on Oct. 7 on page 2 titled UNDP assists three cities.
In this article it is said that the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) is providing US$800 million. This figure is not correct. The correct amount is $800,000.
Some other details were also wrong. Lulu Muhamad (a he, not a she) is UNDP program assistant, not an assistant manager.
The last line of the article: "If this succeeds, the UNDP will give similar assistance to 20 other cities in the country" is also false. The assistance will only be given to the three cities: Kendari, Bandar Lampung and Mataram.
