Army chopper still missing
JAKARTA: Rescue workers yesterday were still searching for an Army helicopter which has been missing since a test flight on Monday in Medan, North Sumatra.
Army Chief Spokesman Brig. Gen. Afifuddin Thaib told The Jakarta Post yesterday that the search has yet to determine the fate of the helicopter belonging to the Bukit Barisan Military Command.
The BO-105 helicopter piloted by 1st Lt. Irawan and 2nd Lt. Asep Mulyana went missing only moments after taking off the Polonia airport. There were no passengers on board. (rms)
