JAKARTA (JP): The police are looking for two men believed to have robbed a bank customer of Rp 166 million (US$70,638) in cash on Tuesday.

The robbery took place on Jl. Warung Buncit in South Jakarta, in front of the office where the customer works, Buncit Jaya Motor.

A police officer at the Pancoran Police subprecinct said the robbers grabbed a bag containing money from the victim, Indra.

Indra had just cashed a cheque at a local branch of Bank Central Asia.

"The alleged robbers are still at large, but we have identified them," the officer told The Jakarta Post yesterday.

Indra was accompanied by his colleague Teddy. The cheque was from a business partner of their employer.

Two men on motorcycles followed Indra and Teddy as they left the bank, said the police officer who requested anonymity.

The alleged robbers approached the employees as they reached their workplace. One of the men grabbed Indra's bag and threatened Indra and Teddy with machetes.

The other man fire a gun into the air.

Indra and Teddy were shocked and just stared at the robbers as they left.
