Anticorruption court in Kuningan

JAKARTA: The Central Jakarta District Court announced on
Friday that the first anticorruption court in the country would
start hearing cases in the Uppindo building on Jl. HR Rasuna Said
in Kuningan district.

I Made Karna, the district court president, told reporters
that the Uppindo building was currently being renovated for the
court. The building was chosen due to its facilities and
security.

The Central Jakarta District Court has leased two floors of
the eight-story building.

"We expect the first hearings to start in December," he said.

The judges for the anticorruption court are currently
completing their training, which is expected to finish in early
