'Antara,' JSX sign deal

JAKARTA (JP): The government-sponsored Antara News Agency will
soon provide real-time information on stock price developments in
cooperation with the Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX).

A memorandum of understanding on the communication links was
signed here yesterday by Antara's managing director, Handjojo
Nitimihardjo, and JSX president Hasan Zein Machmud.

The real-time information system, which will also cover news
and analyses of the country's stock trading, will be disseminated
through the news agency's V-Sat Communication network.

Handjojo said that the stock trading information will be
presented in a new package called Antara's Domestic Real Time
Data Service.(hen)
