Another Bosnia in the Balkans

There is a well-oiled Serb war machine on the roll that is leaving death and destruction among Kosovo Albanians. Once again, there is a comprehensive ethnic cleansing under way in the heart of Europe, and once again the outside world seems almost a helpless bystander.

While Slobodan Milosevic's troops lay one village after another in ruins, as many as 50,000 Kosovo Albanians are on the run. This is a new Bosnia, despite all the vows that there would never be another Bosnia in the Balkans.

Serious-looking foreign ministers and heads of states express their grave concern about what is happening in Kosovo. But words alone are little help against Slobodan Milosevic. He has long since proved that with his rape of Bosnia.
