Correction: Some words are missing in the fourth paragraph of
the letter published in The Jakarta Post on Thursday Oct. 10, An
eye for an eye: "... In essence, states everywhere must assure
citizens protection of the basic and inalienable liberties of
speech (guaranteeing not just freedom of speech, but freedom
after speech, too), assembly, religion and property. The last
four words should be inserted. We regret the error.
