Amien Rais gets award

YOGYAKARTA: Indonesia's oldest Islamic university presented an award Monday to Amien Rais, leader of the Muhammadiyah Moslem organization.

He was given the Dakwah Amar Makruf Nahi Munkar award by Indonesian Islamic University for his efforts in promoting good will and urging people to do good.

The award was presented personally by the university's rector Zaini Dahlan. (23)
