AmEx, Lippo sign deal

JAKARTA (JP): American Express (AmEx) and Lippo Life have
signed an agreement allowing AmEx cardholders to use their
American Express Card to pay for Lippo Life insurance products
and services across Indonesia.

"This agreement is designed so that many AmEx cardholders can
choose and pay for Lippo Life insurance products and services
through their card," the companies said in a joint media release
on Wednesday.

Lippo Life, which was founded in 1983 and has become one of
the country's largest insurance companies, operates life
insurance and pension businesses.

AmEx is one of the world's top credit card companies. (jsk)
