American seeks long lost mother
JAKARTA (JP): An American is currently seeking the whereabouts of his long lost mother, identified as Dasinie Rosier, whom he believes is still alive and living in Indonesia.
Cornelius Rosier has sought the help of the United States Red Cross to trace his mother, aged around 80, with a last known address in Jati Ketok or Jali Ketok, in Madiun, East Java.
The Indonesian Red Cross in a statement yesterday said that Cornelius Rosier (born Nov. 26, 1926) was put in the care of an orphanage by his parents when he was two years old. He joined the Dutch colonial army when he was 18, and then soon after left for Holland.
He has recently heard from an auntie that his mother is still alive in Indonesia and now wants to get in touch with her or those who knew of her whereabouts.
Anyone who has such information is requested to get in touch with the Tracing and Mailing Services of the Indonesian Red Cross Headquarters, Jl. Gatot Subroto, Kav. 18, Jakarta, phone 7992325. (emb)
